Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995
An Act to make further provision with respect to tenancies which include agricultural land. The Agricultural Tenancies Act 1995 came into operation on 1 September 1995. It differs in several important respects from previous agricultural holdings legislation.  More Info
The Agricultural Holdings (Units of Production) (England) Order 2007
This Order prescribes units of production for the assessment of the productive capacity of agricultural land situated in England and sets out the amount which is to be regarded as the net annual income from each such unit for the year 7th November 2007 to 6th November 2008 inclusive for certain purposes of the Agricultural Holdings Act 1986 (“the 1986 Act”) . This Order revokes the Agricultural Holdings (Units of Production) (England) Order 2006.  More Info

The Dairy Produce Quotas (General Provisions) (Amendment) Regulations 2008
These Regulations, which come into force on 1st April 2008, amend the Dairy Produce Quotas (General Provisions) Regulations 2002, S.I. 2002/458 (“the 2002 Regulations”). The 2002 Regulations contain provisions concerning dairy produce quotas relevant to England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.  More Info
The Feed (Corn Gluten Feed and Brewers Grains) (Emergency Control) (England) (Revocation) Regulations 2007
These Regulations revoke the Feed (Corn Gluten Feed and Brewers Grains) (Emergency Control) (England) Regulations 2005, and make consequential amendments to the Genetically Modified Animal Feed (England) Regulations 2004 and the Official Feed and Food Controls (England) Regulations 2006.  More Info
The Feed (Specified Undesirable Substances) (England) Regulations 2007
These Regulations make further amendments to the Feeding Stuffs (England) Regulations 2005 (SI 2005/3281 as already amended by SI 2006/113, SI 2006/2808 and SI 2006/3120) (“the Feeding Stuffs Regulations”). The Regulations amend Chapter D of Schedule 5 to the Feeding Stuffs Regulations, principally by — setting new limits in relation to aldrin and dieldrin, setting new limits in relation to endosulphan in crude vegetable oil; and replacing the term “fats” by the term “fats and oils”, (regulation 2(3) and Schedule 1).  More Info
The Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-And-Mouth Disease) Regulations 2007
These Regulations revoke and re-make with amendments the Import and Export Restrictions (Foot-and-Mouth Disease) (No.5) (Wales) Regulations 2007. The Regulations implement Commission Decision 2007/709/EC amending Decision 2007/554/EC concerning certain protection measures against foot-and-mouth disease in the United Kingdom. Decision 2007/709/EC further extends the categories of, and areas from which, meat may be exported.  More Info
The Landfill (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2005
These Regulations make further amendments to the regulatory regime governing landfills in England and Wales for the purpose of implenting Council Decision 2003/33/EC establishing criteria and procedures for the acceptance of waste at landfills pursuant to Article 16 of and Annex II to Directive 1999/31/EC ("the Landfill Directive"). They also make provision in respect of the implentation of the Landfill Directive.  More Info
The Food Labelling (Declaration of Allergens) (England) Regulations 2008
The Regulations amend the principal Regulations in respect of the labelling requirements for foods containing allergenic ingredients, including labelling exemptions for certain processed forms of those ingredients, and provide a transitional period for foods that are marked, labelled or sold before the 31st May 2009.  More Info
The Common Agricultural Policy Single Payment and Support Schemes (Horticulture) Regulations 2009
These Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and it appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for references in these Regulations to certain Community instruments to be construed as references to those instruments as amended from time to time.  More Info
The Working Time (Amendment) Regulations 2009
These Regulations implement the third subparagraph of Article 17(5) of Directive 2003/88/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 4 November 2003 concerning certain aspects of the organisation of working time.  More Info
The Swine Vesicular Disease (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2009
These Regulations amend The Swine Vesicular Disease (Wales) Regulations 2009 (S.I. 2009/1372 (W.135) (“the Principal Regulations”) which implement in Wales the provisions of Council Directive 92/119/EEC introducing general Community measures for the control of certain animal diseases and specific measures relating to swine vesicular disease (OJ No. L 62, 15.3.1993, p. 69) in so far as that Directive controls swine vesicular disease and Council Directive 2007/10/EC (OJ No. L 63, 1.3.2007, p. 24).  More Info
The Zoonoses and Animal By-Products (Fees) (England) Regulations 2009

These Regulations amend the Pesticides (Maximum Residue Levels in Crops, Food and Feeding Stuffs) (England and Wales) Regulations 2005 (SI 2005/3286) (“the principal Regulations”) and the Pesticides (Maximum Residue Levels in Crops, Food and Feeding Stuffs) (England and Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2007 (S.I. 2007/971) (“the 2007 Amendment Regulations”)  More Info
The Horse Passports Regulations 2009
These Regulations enforce Commission Regulation (EC) No. 504/2008 in England. They provide for identification of horses, and replace the Horse Passports (England) Regulations 2004.  More Info
The Zoonoses (Monitoring) (England) Regulations 2007
These Regulations provide inspectors with powers of entry to monitor for zoonoses and antimicrobial resistance to zoonotic agents and other agents that pose a threat to public health, as required by Directive 2003/99/EC (on the monitoring of zoonoses and zoonotic agents, amending Council Decision 90/424/EEC and repealing Council Directive 92/117/EEC) (regulation 4). Regulation 5 sets out what inspectors may do on those premises, including take samples, examine records and make inquiries of any person.  More Info
The Veterinary Surgeons’ Qualifications (European Recognition) Regulations 2008
These Regulations give effect to Directive 2005/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the recognition of professional qualifications (OJ No L 255, 30.09.2005, p 22) in so far as it applies to the practice of veterinary surgery in the United Kingdom  More Info
The Drinking Milk (England) Regulations 2008
These Regulations, which apply only in England and come into force on 1st July 2008, make provision for the enforcement of Article 114(2) of, and Annex XIII (“the Annex”) to, Council Regulation (EC) No 1234/2007 establishing a common organisation of agricultural markets and on specific provisions for certain agricultural products (Single CMO Regulation) (OJ No L 299, 16.11.2007, p 1). The Drinking Milk Regulations 1998, S.I. 1998/2424, and the Drinking Milk (Amendment) Regulations 2007, S.I. 2007/3428, are revoked by regulation 8  More Info

The Plant Health (England) (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2007
This Order amends the Plant Health (England) Order 2005 (S.I. 2005/2530) (“the principal Order”). The Meat (Official Controls Charges) (England) Regulations 2008
These Regulations may be cited as the Meat (Official Controls Charges) (England) Regulations 2008, apply in relation to England only, come into force on 31st March 2008 and cease to have effect at the end of 2009 unless revoked with effect from an earlier date.  More Info
The Radioactive Contaminated Land (Modification of Enactments) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2007
In England the Radioactive Contaminated Land (Enabling Powers) (England) Regulations 2005 (S.I. 2005/3467) apply the powers under the 1990 Act to make regulations and guidance in relation to radioactive substances and the Radioactive Contaminated Land (Modification of Enactments) (England) Regulations 2006 (S.I. 2006/1379) (“the 2006 Regulations”) make provision for Part 2A to have effect with modifications for the purpose of the identification and remediation of radioactive contaminated land.  More Info
