They have been prepared by the Department of Trade and Industry and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport in order to assist the reader in understanding the Act. The Digital Switchover (Disclosure of Information) Act 2007 (Prescription of Information) (Amendment) Order 2008
This Order, made under the Digital Switchover (Disclosure of Information) Act 2007 (c. 8), amends the Digital Switchover (Disclosure of Information) Act (Prescription of Information) Order 2007 (S.I. 2007 No. 1768). Under the Scheme, certain groups of people can get help to convert their television equipment to digital reception. This Order substitutes references to the previous Digital Switchover Help Scheme for the amended Digital Switchover Help Scheme agreed between the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport and the BBC on 28th March 2008 with a consequential amendment to the reference to that Scheme in the definition of “qualifying individual”  More Info

The Telecommunications (Lawful Business Practice) (Interception of Communications) Regulations 2000
These Regulations authorise certain interceptions of telecommunication communications which would otherwise be prohibited by section 1 of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000  More Info
The Health and Safety (Display Screen Equipment) Regulations 1992
These Regulations shall, subject to regulation 1(4), apply to and in relation to the premises and activities outside Great Britain to which sections 1 to 59 and 80 to 82 of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 apply by virtue of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 (Application Outside Great Britain) Order 1989[4] as they apply within Great Britain.  More Info
The Patents (Fees) Rules 2007
These Rules prescribe fees in relation to matters arising under the Patents Act 1977 and the Patents Rules 2007 (SI 2007/3291). These Rules take into account the Patents Rules 2007 and the revocation by those Rules of the Patents (Fees) Rules 1998 (SI 1998/1778) as last amended by the Patents (Amendment) Rules 2005 (SI 2005/2496). The Electronic Signatures Regulations 2002
These Regulations implement Directive 1999/93/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on a Community framework for electronic signatures[5]. The provisions of this Directive which are implemented relate to the supervision of certification-service-providers, their liability in certain circumstances and data protection requirements concerning them; provisions in the Directive relating to the admissibility of electronic signatures as evidence in legal proceedings were implemented by section 7 of the Electronic Communications Act 2000 (2000 c. 7)  More Info

The Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2008
The obligations under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (“the Act") apply to public authorities. For the purposes of the Act, a “public authority�_ means a body or office which is listed in Schedule 1 to the Act or designated by an order under section 5 of the Act, or a publicly-owned company as defined by section 6 of the Act.
