The Sale and Supply of Goods to Consumers Regulations 2002 A Brief Introduction
A minimum set of common consumer rights on faulty goods in each EU country is provided for by Directive 1999/44/EC on the Sale of Consumer Goods (“the Directive”). The Electronic Signatures Regulations 2002
These Regulations implement Directive 1999/93/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on a Community framework for electronic signatures[5].
