1.   Citation, commencement and interpretation

(1)      These Regulations may be cited as the Reinsurance Directive Regulations 2007 and come into force on 10th December 2007.

(2)      In these Regulations “the Act” means the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000(7).

2.   Amendments of primary and secondary legislation

(1)      Schedule 1 to these Regulations (which contains amendments to the Act) has effect.

(2)      Schedule 2 to these Regulations (which contains amendments to secondary legislation made under the Act) has effect.

(3)      Schedule 3 to these Regulations (which contains amendments to other primary legislation) has effect.

(4)      Schedule 4 to these Regulations (which contains amendments to other secondary legislation) has effect.
