The Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Public Guardian (Amendment) Regulations 2007
These Regulations amend the Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Public Guardian Regulations 2007 by disapplying regulation 14 to objections to registration of the instrument creating the power made by the donor of a lasting power of attorney and inserting a new regulation 14A which deals solely with objections to registration made by the donor. The new regulation 14A prescribes a period of 5 weeks for such objections  More Info

The Occupational Pension Schemes (EEA States) Regulations 2007
These Regulations amend various provisions in pensions legislation to take account of the coming into force on 12th April 2007 of the decision of the EEA Joint Committee No. 88/2006 of 7th July 2006 to incorporate European Union Directive 2003/41/EC on the Activities and Supervision of Institutions for Occupational Retirement Provision (OJ No. L 235, 23.9.03, p.10) into Annex IX (Financial Services) to the EEA Agreement  More Info
The Pensions Act 2007 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2007
This Order brings into force on 1st November 2007 section 17 of, and Schedule 5 and Part 8 of Schedule 7 (and section 27(7) in so far as it relates to that Part) to, the Pensions Act 2007 (c.22) which relate to the removal of the Secretary of State’s role in approving actuarial guidance  More Info
The Non-Contentious Probate (Amendment) Rules 2009
These Rules amend the Non-Contentious Probate Rules (SI 1987/2024) by substituting in rule 32(1)(a) (grants on behalf of minors) a new sub-paragraph (i) to reflect relevant amendments made to the Children Act 1989 by the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 2008. The Rules come into force on the same date as the 2008 Act provisions in question.  More Info
The Pensions Regulator (Delegation of Powers) Regulations 2009
These Regulations permit the Pensions Regulator (“the Regulator”) to authorise such persons, in such circumstances and under such arrangements, as the Regulator may determine, to exercise certain powers on the Regulator’s behalf.  More Info
The Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Public Guardian (Amendment) Regulations 2009
These Regulations amend the Lasting Powers of Attorney, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Public Guardian Regulations 2007 (“the 2007 Regulations”) so as to substitute new prescribed forms for instruments intended to create a property and financial affairs Lasting Power of Attorney or a health and welfare Lasting Power of Attorney. The relevant prescribed form must be used in order to make either a health and welfare or a property and financial affairs Lasting Power of Attorney. However regulation 6 permits the continued use of the forms which are replaced by the new prescribed forms provided execution of the form occurs before 1 April 2011.  More Info
The Mental Health Act 2007 (Commencement No. 1) Order 2007
This Order is the first commencement Order made under the Mental Health Act 2007 and brings into force section 45 of that Act in relation to England and Wales. Section 45 amends section 23 of the Mental Health Act 1983 (c.20) in relation to the delegation by National Health Service foundation trusts of their power to discharge patients from compulsion under the Act  More Info
