CP080 Memo and articles of limited company | | Price: £24 |
 |
|
| | | Net Lawman company documents have been amended to comply with the Companies Act 2006.
Do you want to:
- change your existing articles for a modern, comprehensible version OR
- form a new company.
It is not difficult to form your own company. The Registrar of Companies now produces excellent guidance. You can either complete forms on line or order a “pack” by post. On this page you will find links to all you need.
The Registrar of Companies does not supply model memorandum and articles. We do.
The memorandum and articles of association of a limited company are together its “constitution”. The directors cannot act outside of the powers set there, so it is very important that it reflects what the shareholders (whether directors or not) want from the company. The Net Lawman document has been written in plain terms and is accompanied by explanatory notes to remind you of issues which might otherwise be over looked.
Full instructions on how to set up a company are here. The Companies Act model articles are here. With Net Lawman memorandum and articles it really is simple. Just check the main terms to which the notes direct you, then fill in names and addresses and submit to Companies House. You will also have to complete two other forms. Here is the full list of what to send:
