Who will use this manual?
HSE09 is a comprehensive ‘all round’ manual for use in the forestry industry. It can be used by businesses who deal in specific tasks within the industry such as wood chipping, tree-lopping, or transportation of timber, or a combination of any of these and others.

This manual deals with the most important health and safety issues when working in the forestry business. The more specialised and dangerous your operations, the more you must liaise with your H&S inspectorate and take detailed advice on aspects of your H&S policy which will require additions to your manual.
