Why use this document:
This letter contains provisions for a preliminary confidentiality agreement so that you can disclose confidential information to your proposed new colleague before either of you is finally committed. It also sets out some ideas on what you might expect of them.

As an option, it contains a reminder to your new colleague of the importance of compliance with the letter and the spirit of the Model Code Of Practice For Board Members Of Advisory non-departmental Public Bodies.
