Terms and conditions for a hostel
About this document:
This is a comprehensive terms and conditions document for any sort of hostel, or accommodation where there is dormitory or shared accommodation for a low cost. The document could either be posted on the hostel’s website or be presented to the guest, traveler or backpacker upon arrival.
It is fair to both parties. However, it ensures that the hostel is protected from damage to the hostel, by it’s guests. It includes a strict no liability paragraph to protect the hostel and also includes detailed provisions regarding what happens on arrival, provision of basic food (where applicable), no smoking and more.
It is suitable for any size and type of hostel. It is especially useful because it is written in plain English and therefore will be easily understood.
