  The Secretary of State, in the exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 72A of the Insolvency Act 1986[1] hereby makes the following Order:
1- Citation and commencement
  This Order may be cited as the Insolvency Act 1986, Section 72A (Appointed Date) Order 2003.
2- Appointed date
  The date appointed under section 72A(4)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986 is 15th September 2003.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
   
  This Order provides the date required by section 72A(4)(a) of the Insolvency Act 1986 which is prospectively inserted by section 250 of the Enterprise Act 2002. Floating charges created on or after this date will be subject to the provisions of section 72A of the Insolvency Act 1986 prohibiting the appointment of administrative receivers unless it falls within one of the exceptions specified.
