An Act to amend the definition of “the Treaties” and “the Community Treaties” in section 1(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 so as to include the decision of 7th June 2007 of the Council on the Communities' system of own resources.

Be it enacted by the Queen’s most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Extended meaning of “the Treaties” and “the Community Treaties”
In section 1(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 (c. 68), in the definition of “the Treaties” and “the Community Treaties”, for paragraph (e) (Council decisions on Communities' system of own resources) substitute—
"(e)
the decisions of the Council of 7th May 1985, 24th June 1988, 31st October 1994, 29th September 2000 and 7th June 2007 on the Communities' system of own resources;”.
