About this document
This is an exclusive agreement between the proprietor of specified licensed material and the licensee. The licensee acquires the right in the licensed material to use and exploit it for business use throughout a defined geographical area. It does not allow the licensee to develop, alter or modify the licensed material of the proprietor in any manner whatsoever.
The licensee is allowed to edit or alter the material as he requires, without the approval of the licensor. The licensee may also combine it with other materials as he thinks fit. The licensee is free to determine the way he uses or incorporates the material in the media. If you require a document where the licensee is free to determine how to use, edit and amend the material only with approval from the licensor consider Net Lawman document ’Licence to use, edit and amend ‘licensed material’ subject to licensor’s approval, linked right.
The word media in the present agreement refers to a motion picture or television series, video clip, sound recording and so on.
As drawn, all intellectual property rights of the licensed material, even if amended, belongs to the licensor.  The media, in its entirety, belongs to the licensee.
