In order to maintain the quality of document and customer ease of use, Net Lawman requires some elements common to all the documents we sell. However, we will listen to any good reason not to comply!
We want from you:
Your document with drafting notes model document with notes
Format and style
Your document must:
    be written in clear English with minimal use of legal jargon and terminology which has been lost in every day speech.
    contain standard English punctuation, for example commas where appropriate.
    be formatted in 10 or 12 point black Arial font, aligned left.
    be substantially broken down into paragraphs with numbers, sub numbers and sub-sub numbers, so as to facilitate the removal or addition of a paragraph by a buyer.
    be formatted to print on A4 paper, with all four margins at or near two centimetres.
    give a blank line between every main paragraph and between every sub paragraph.
    have no drafting note in the body of the text.
    be drawn in the masculine singular. If so desired, a note may be provided to explain.

As to the drafting notes Go to top
    The notes shall be placed after the end of the Document.
    Notes shall be in two sets: first, those entitled "General notes", shall be consecutively numbered and refer to matters which apply to the Document generally. Second, those entitled "Paragraph specific notes" shall be number in accordance with the paragraph number to which they refer. See example notes.

The following matters are regarded as preferred, but are not essential
    Except in Documents for jurisdictions where it is common usage, comprehensive lists of words with similar meaning must be avoided in favour of a generic word.
    The word “paragraph” shall be used in preference to the word “clause”.
    Every main paragraph shall have a short heading.
    Where words or paragraphs are provided in the alternative, for selection by the user, and where text or data is to be inserted, then such text, and the words either side of the insertion point, shall be coloured blue. If so coloured blue, there shall be a general note explaining the reason for the blue colouring and suggesting it should be changed to black before the document is used..
    Wherever possible, all variable data shall be placed on the first page. This helps to avoid a situation where the user fails to enter or edit data which may be critical to the document.

and after you have submitted your document . . .
    We will check non-legal aspects and let you know if changes are required;
We will draw your doc intro page, add tech stuff and optimise it;
Your document will be published within 48 hours;
The support team will email to you the URP of the doc intro page.
We will provide a URL for your page and a reference for your document.

The Net Lawman sales route takes each buyer to a page where details of the document are set out. By the time a customer reaches this page, he knows what he wants and thinks he may have found it. The page test is therefore designed to provide re-assurance and facts rather than "a hard sell". We refer to this as a "doc intro" page. A lawyer from our team will prepare that intro for your document also using the info you provide as short description of the document at document entry page. He could contact you through email also if further help required from you. Then finally the document will be published at Net Lawman and will be in front of three thousands daily visitors of Net Lawman.
