About this document
This is a contract for the provision of services by a firm of consultants to any business client. The work could relate to any aspect of human resources management, whether search and recruitment, business structure, performance or dismissal.
The consultancy may be incorporated to take advantage of a company's or LLP's limited liability status. It is likely to employ one or more people who will carry out the work for the client.
The exact subject of the work is not important to the legal substance, which deals primarily with matters around delivery, working arrangements, payment and limitation of liability.
We provide for a detailed specification of work to be placed in a schedule. If the scope of the project increases or if there are future assignments, then it is only necessary to define the new work and reference the contract as the terms under which it will be carried out. Even if you expect never to enter into a new work assignment, you do not have to delete anything on that account.
The document can be used as standard terms and conditions for every client, or as a negotiated contract that differs from project to project. It favours the consultancy, without being unacceptable to the client.
Alternative documents
We also publish a version of this agreement for use where the services are provided by a self-employed individual (perhaps working with an in-house team, or with colleagues or sub-contractors).
If you are the client looking to take on a consultant, you may like to look at this contract instead.

Recent reviews
The document was easy to customise for my business and took care of some issues I would not have thought of. I feel like it protect me and my clients. My first client to use this will be a lawyer so I look forward to her feedback.
I have found by having this document I was able to move forward in building my agreement process, and I can confidently put it on letterhead and present to clients. I have already recommended Net Lawman to others because it is important no matter how small your business is, that you have a professional agreement for services and a lot of small businesses I see can not afford legal support yet.
